Hyeon Chung defeats Daniil Medvedev to reach NextGen ATP Final

Hyeon Chung continued his perfect run in the NextGen ATP Finals by defeating Daniil Medvedev 4-1, 4-1, 3-4, 1-4, 4-0.

Hyeon Chung started the match red hot, quickly surging to a two set lead however Medvedev suddenly turned the match around and brought the match back on level terms after two hard fought sets. However Hyeon Chung showed why his nickname is "The Professor" as he figured out his opponent and responded beautifully by breaking Medvedev's serve early in the deciding set  and holding him off 4-0. Chung will now face Rublev in the final where he will be aiming to win his first ATP tour final.
